Who is Ace In The Hole?

Founders, Marilyn & Will Roy, set out in 1990 to try something completely different from what they were currently doing. They both had successful careers, performing starring roles with major opera houses and symphony orchestras throughout the world. Will has also played leading roles in Broadway Musicals and plays in New York and in regional theatres. They both have appeared on radio and television, in the USA and in Europe.

While they were appearing in a series of dinner-theatre events attended by seniors groups, Marilyn & Will realized that they had something unique to bring to the senior day-trip market. They decided to become the “Ace In The Hole” that Group Leaders and Tour Operators could count on to really deliver the goods.

So they wrote their first show: Speakeasy, The Cabaret Soap Opera - a musical comedy set in the roaring ’20s. It was an immediate hit. They incorporated Ace In The Hole Productions and have been writing, producing and directing musical comedies, producing ethnic and seasonal events, as well as starring in shows themselves ever since. Marilyn & Will have built Ace In The Hole into the leading Senior Day-Trip destination in the North East.

Did they do it alone?

Absolutely not! Marilyn & Will have assembled a warm, caring, courteous staff, both in their office and at the Banquet Facilities where the events take place. The Ace In The Hole staff work closely with their friends on the Banquet staffs to see that our guests get the very best food and service.

That means we have access to many great new acts each year and much-loved acts are happy to come back. Hundreds of top professional entertainers and musicians grace our stage. Needless to say, you don't get them all at once, but each show features some of the finest entertainers and musicians in the world.

Will's daughter Cari Roy, lives in New Orleans, where she is a Jazz & Blues singer, and also a well known Psychic. She has become a world renowned expert in psychic phemonena, and has appeared in several TV documentaries on the subject.
Marilyn and Will's daughter April Roy, is an Honor Student at Schuyler-Colfax Middle School in Wayne, NJ. She is very interested in and quite gifted in Art and Design. April is a three time Gold Medalist figure skater.
